Farmers and leaders in the north rift region have Petitioned government to disband national cereal and Produce board for failing in its mandate. the farmers have Registered their frustrations with  NCPB saying it is a Link through which maize cartels exploit Farmers. Farmers are now demanding for the government To close up the board for exploiting farmers and Wasting taxpayers money. Their petition comes as The government announced that it will no longer directly Buy, sell, or set maize prices in the country to create an Efficient and competitive food market.
