DP Ruto in New York for 71st United Nations general assembly

Heads of state and government are in New York for the 71st United Nations general assembly. The assembly starts on the backdrop of  HYPERLINK "http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/29-hurt-manhattan-explosion-called-intentional-act-n650041" an explosion on Saturday night less than two miles away that left 29 people injured. The Kenyan delegation is being led by deputy president William Ruto. Ruto who arrived in New York on Saturday was received by Kenya’s permanent representative to the UN Macharia Kamau and Emansador to the US Njeru Githae. President Barrack Obama is expected to arrive in New York later today.
