Lands Cabinet Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi has this morning announced the ministry’s plans to issue 1.2 million new title deeds by the end of the year. This is meant to beat jubilee’s target of three million title deeds to be issued by the end of 2017. The jubilee administration has so far issued 2.4 million title deeds. Kaimenyi also announced plans of digitizing the lands registry to reduce on the cases of corruption.
