Jubilee party hits first “road block”

The jubilee national steering committee has indefinitely postponed the planned merger of TNA, URP and all other political parties affiliated to the coalition. The steering committee led by meru senator Kiraitu Murungi and former cabinet minister Noah Wekesa announced that the parties will not merge until there is a law in place to shiled the coalition’s elected members from losing their seats in the event that they decamp from their political parties.there may be more than meets the eye as the yet to be launched jubilee party has faced stiff resistance from members of the coalition in Meru and parts of the south rift region.
