Kisii University management is lashing out at the Commission on University Education for lacking professionalism in carrying out its mandate, accusing the body for maliciously damaging its reputation in the eyes of the public. The university’s vice chancellor Prof. John Akama said CUE’s recent directive to have the institution’s ten campuses closed for failing to meet basic thresholds to offer training is biased and did not focus on real issues affecting efficiency in the education sector.
