The Federation of Kenya Employers has termed as illegal the seven day strike notice by the Central Organisation of Trade Unions COTU. The COTU Sectretary General Francis Atwoli issued a notice of strike by all workers in solidarity with Kenyan teachers over their pay increment. FKE says any worker who will join the COTU strike would be liable for disciplinary action.
