The National Assembly will this afternoon debate a report of the departmental committee on agriculture on the crisis facing the sugar industry in Kenya. The report was laid on the table of the house in March this year and probed the alleged mismanagement of Mumias Sugar Company which led to the near collapse of the leading sugar miller.
