The Turkish government has promised to offer sustainable partnership to youth and women involved in agribusiness in Nyamira and Kisii counties. The Turkish ambassador was in these counties to assess the various projects accomplished by the one hen campaign project which is funded by the Turkish government through the Turkish cooperation and coordination agency. Through the one hen campaign, the youth, women and children have embraced agribusiness through poultry farming. A total of 2500 primary school children have so far received one chicken and a cage. Meanwhile the Japanese government has also donated 8.4 million shillings towards the construction of a dilapidated primary school in Kitutu Chache south constituency in Kisii County.
