Othaya member of parliament Mary Wambui is among a section of leaders who are calling for the reinforcement of vip security . The mp has called on the government to offer refresher courses to security personnel in order to enhance their skills while protecting important personnel. She says it is disturbing that attackers are able to overpower trained security personnel, even as she called for speedy investigations into the murder of Kabete mp George Muchai. The mp’s call comes in the midst of growing fear among citizens regarding insecurity in the country with many wondering if at all they are safe within their borders .
