Nairobi-Thika motorists urge givernment to construct by-passes
31st January, 2015
For months on end now, motorists using the Nairobi-Thika superhighway have been forced to endure traffic snarl-ups that last on average 45 minutes as they approach Thika town. Motorists say it is ironic that they use 45 minutes from Nairobi to Thika yet waste more than 45 minutes to maneuver a stretch of half a kilometer to get to the town’s central business district. They are now appealing to the government to construct by passes in the town to ease congestion.
