We begin tonight on a tragic note...five people have been confirmed dead while eight others sustained injuries after a gold mine collapsed in Bushia?Ngala, Ikolomani, Kakamega county. Rescue operations are currently underway but they have been hampered by heavy rains currently pounding the area. According to eye witnesses, the rescue operation took time to begin as there were no equipment to aid in the operation.
