CORD Coalition Threatens to boycott the next elections if IEBC isn't disbanded

The Kenyan opposition coalition cord insists that the national electoral commissioners have lost credibility to supervise the next polls and should either voluntarily quit before the 2017 elections or be forced out. The three CORD co-principals have threatened that the opposition will boycott the next polls if far reaching electoral reforms are not implemented ahead of the polls. The pressure for IEBC commissioners to go home comes a day after the umbrella body of churches – NCCK - demanded for electoral reforms and national dialogue on reconciliation ahead of the next polls.
