9th April, 2016
Attorney general prof. Githu muigai has dismissed allegations by the icc chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda on witness interference and non-co-operation in the cases against kenyan suspects. Muigai says the government gave the icc prosecutor unlimited and unprecedented co-operation, including sharing minutes of the national security advisory council and the national intelligence service on the 2007 post election violence. Muigai added that the kenyan government cannot take responsibility for the incompetence of the prosecutor’s office.
