Eric Chiloba: Voter importation could be a risky move

The independent electoral and boundaries commission chairman Ezra Chiloba has warned that mass importation and transfer of voters in various parts of the country could trigger violence pitting supporters of different political groups against each other should local residents block those suspected to have been imported from voting in next year’s polls. At the same time, the chairman of the communication authority of Kenya Ben Gituku says the authority has proposed a raft of guidelines for broadcast media that will check against politicians inciting communities in the run-up to the polls.
