Four KDF soldiers injured in Al Shabaab attack arrive in Nairobi

Four Kenya Defence Forces soldiers who were injur edduring a dawn attack by the Alshabab in Somalia last Friday were flown home this afternoon. Chief of Defence Forces General Samson Mwathethe says the four are among those severely injured and in need of need of specialized treatment. Details of the casualties from the attack remain scanty with the government saying it is availing information directly to affected families. The government has released details of how the attack was carried out using vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices followed by suicide bomb attacks.
