The ethics and anti?corruption commission (eacc) has finalized investigations into the first phase of the kemsa scandal where the country lost billions of shillings. According to the eacc, it had handed over the files to the odpp for action as it embarked on investigations into over 80 companies that benefited from the funds from the government agency. This came as the anti?graft body exuded confidence that it would unearth and expose all those involved in the graft where procurement was irregularly carried out. This comes four months after president uhuru kenyatta issued a 21?day?directive to eacc, dcio and odpp to investigate the matter.
