The covid 19 pandemic has hit hard businesses and investment in the East African bloc, with disruptions on global supply chains, testing the resilience of business ecosystems, and reducing intra EAC trade. As a result, the East African business council in collaboration with Giz program launched a survey to find out how covid 19 has affected businesses in the region by looking into the impact. From the state of employment to dipped exports and imports, the study revealed a grim picture of the region’s economic outlook.
