Kisii Hospital launches ISO certified medical laboratory

The Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital now has an ISO certified  laboratory.

Governor James Ongwae while receiving the ISO Certificate said that medical laboratory testing plays a crucial role in treatment of diseases. “

With the certification, the KTRH medical laboratory is now listed among internationally accredited labs on the Kenya National Accreditation Service website,” said Governor Ongwae.

The governor said construction of a Sh2 billion cancer centre will start in a few weeks after the approval of funding by the National Treasury.
