Chinese telcom giant Huawei plans to place in the market advanced technology devices by the end of the year.
Huawei Kenya Chief Executive Officer Dean Yu says the Long Term Evolution (LTE) devices will ensure that Kenyans access faster mobile data. LTE is the next advancement mobile data connectivity after 3G technology and is popularly known as 4G.
"We believe we are playing an important role in bridging the digital divide in Kenya, creating opportunities through education and contributing to growth of Information and Communications Technology market," Dean said.
