Kenyan Members of Parliament have won the men volleyball opener match against the neighboring Uganda during the ongoing East Africa Community (EAC) inter-parliamentary games.

The heated showdown at the Aga Khan Academy in Mombasa County, Kenya’s men’s volleyball team reaffirmed their dominance with a commanding 3-1 sets victory over Uganda on Sunday evening.

Kenya, the defending champions displayed exceptional skill and teamwork to the delight of an electrified home crowd, claiming the sets 25-20, 27-25 and 25-17.

Uganda managed to edge out a closely contested first set 26-24 but Kenya’s resilience and tactical brilliance saw them turn the tide in style.

The game which began at 6:18 p.m., was full of emotions from the start. Uganda took the early momentum, scoring the first point just 10 seconds into the match igniting a spirited atmosphere in the packed arena. Despite Uganda’s early triumph in the opening set, Kenya recalibrated their strategy and delivered an exciting response.
