  High Court Principal Judge Eric Ogola has announces reshuffle of judges. [File, Standard]

The Judiciary has reshuffled 33 Judges from their current work stations, High Court Principal Judge Eric Ogola has announced.

This comes at a time when lawyers have raised concern over availability of judges saying their absence slows down the judicial process and delays delivery of justice.

The following judges have been affected by the new changes:

1.Hon. Mr. Justice Alfred Mabeya moved from the Commercial and Tax Division in Nairobi to Kisumu as a principal judge.

2. Hon. Lady Justice Roselyne Aburili moved from Kisumu to the Judicial Review Division in Nairobi as a principal judge.

Hon. Mr. Justice Edward Muriithi moved from Meru to Kerugoya as a principal judge. Hon. Lady Justice Cecilia Githua remains in Murang'a but elevated to principal judge. Hon. Lady Justice Christine Meoli moved from Civil Division in Nairobi to Kajiado as principal judge. Hon. Lady Justice Roselyne Korir moved from Bomet to Chuka as principal judge. Hon. Lady Justice Stella Mutuku moved from Kajiado to the Civil Division in Nairobi as a principal judge. Hon. Lady Justice Esther Maina moved from the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Division in Nairobi to Machakos as a principal judge. Hon. Mr. Justice Charles Kariuki moved from Nyandarua to Narok as a principal judge. Hon. Lady Justice Lilian Mutende moved from the Criminal Division in Nairobi to Nyahururu as a principal judge. Hon. Mr. Justice Francis Gikonyo moved from Narok to the Commercial Division in Nairobi as a principal judge. Hon. Mr. Justice Kiarie W. Kiarie has been moved from Homa Bay to Nyandarua as the principal Judge. Hon. Mr. Justice Jairus Ngaah moved from the Judicial Review in Nairobi to Mombasa as the principal judge. Hon. Mr. Justice Robert Limo moved from Kitui to Kitale as principal judge. Hon. Lady Justice Lucy Njuguna moved from Embu to the anti-Corruption Division in Nairobi. Hon. Lady Justice Mugure Thande remains in Malindi bu takes over as the new principal judge. Hon. Lady Justice Lucy Gitari moved from Chuka to Kitui as principal judge. Hon. Mr. Justice Richard Mwongo moved from Kerugoya to Embu as principal judge. Hon. Mr. Justice James Wakiaga moved from Murang'a to Nairobi as principal judge. Hon. Mr. Justice Jesse Nyaga moves from Marsabit to Garsen as principal judge. Hon. Mr. Justice Githinji Stephen moved from Malindi to Meru as principal judge. Hon. Lady Justice Olga Sewe moved from Mombasa to Homa-Bay as principal judge. Hon. Mr. Justice David Kipyegon Kemei moved from Bungoma to Siaya as principal judge. Hon. Mr. Justice Olel Francis Odhiambo moved from Machakos to Marsabit as principal judge. Hon. Lady Justice Margaret Muigai moved from Machakos to the Criminal Division, Nairobi. She will be in Charge of Community Service Orders. Hon. Mr. Justice Antony Mrima moved from Kitale to Civil Division in Nairobi and the Judicial Service Commission. Hon. Mr. Justice Francis Andayi moved from Mombasa to Kwale. Hon. Mr. Justice Nixon Sifuna moved from the Commercial to the Civil Division in Nairobi. He will be in charge of Deployment. Hon. Lady Justice Shariff Mwanaisha moved from Kisumu to Bungoma. Hon. Lady Justice Tabitha Ouya moved from Murang'a to Nairobi. Hon.
