
Journalists and Kenyans have shared heartfelt tributes following the passing of Nick Mudimba, a renowned journalist, who died last evening.
According to reports, Mudimba collapsed at his home in Syokimau, Machakos County. A family source confirmed that he had been unwell and was undergoing treatment.
Mudimba previously worked at KTN and Switch TV before joining CGTN Africa as a senior reporter.
Colleagues and netizens have expressed shock and sorrow over his sudden demise.
Samuel Emukule wrote: “Very sad... Ken G and family, may the Almighty give you strength during this period.”
Fred Musyimi shared: “Shocking to hear. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.”
Journalist Ferdinand Omondi described him as “one of the kindest souls I ever met, always ready for a good laugh.”
Sports journalist Hassan Juma eulogized him as “one of the best and easiest colleagues I have worked with. Fare thee well, brother. You played your part and left a mark wherever you went.”
