Popular content creator and radio personality Azziad Nasenya has once again found herself trending, this time, not for her dance moves or viral videos, but for an unexpected health scare that left her with a noticeably swollen lip.
Azziad took to social media to share her ordeal, documenting her journey from the moment she noticed a small pimple to the full-blown swelling that followed.
According to her, the issue began after she caught the flu, which has been making rounds lately.
“Had a really bad flu, caught the bug that has been going around. It started very cutesy and demure until…” she wrote on Instagram.
Seeking medical attention, she visited Nairobi West Hospital, where she received treatment. While she did not disclose the exact diagnosis, Azziad mentioned that the prescribed medication had yet to take effect.
“So I went to Nairobi West Hospital, and they have impeccable service. I was given some medicine and told the swelling would go down in an hour, but here we are… it’s still swollen,” she shared.
Her predicament quickly became a talking point among netizens, with reactions ranging from genuine concern to outright hilarity.

Some flooded her inbox with well-wishes, while others turned the situation into a meme fest.
Azziad, taking the jokes in stride, acknowledged the humour in her Instagram stories.
“Nyi chekeni tu hapo kwa DM zangu. Chuma chenu ki motoni. I never imagined this could ever happen to me in this world. Anyways, ni sawa tu,” she quipped.
Some netizens likened her swollen lips to Tanasha Donna’s cosmetic enhancements, joking that Azziad had received for free what others pay top dollar for.
"Vitu Tanasha Donna analipia, Azziad anapata free," one user commented.
Another user drew a comparison to Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, dubbing her “Azziad Dangote.”
As the jokes flew, some commenters took a more superstitious approach, tying her situation to the recent unverified debt allegations that had surfaced online.
"Dawa ya deni ni kulipa, ona sasa wamemroga," one person speculated.
Despite the humour, many fans sent her well wishes, assuring her that she would recover soon.
"Utapona Queen," one supporter wrote.
