
Kenyan hip-hop artist Keddy its KK has released his much-anticipated EP, 2000minus40, today 14th February.
The EP is deeply inspired by his upbringing in Kayole, showcasing his growth as an artist and explores themes ranging from mental health and love to social issues and personal triumphs.
This EP marks Keddy’s first major project, following years of releasing singles. It blends hip-hop, afrobeat, gengetone, and old-school R&B, demonstrating his versatility. While he's not planning collaborations with bigger artists due to past disappointments, Keddy is focused on building his brand and delivering relatable, feel-good music.
