Comedian and philanthropist Eric Omondi and Willy Paul are set to tour the world for the Poze Live performances and will do it in style.
The duo will travel in style aboard a chartered private jet, marking a significant milestone in Kenya’s showbiz industry.
The tour which will take six months will see the dynamic collaboration between Omondi, known for his sharp wit and boundary-pushing humour, and Willy Paul, a hitmaker famous for his electrifying performances and chart-topping songs.
Omondi shared his excitement about the upcoming tour on his socials, stating, “Thank you Skyward Express for this jet. We are ready for takeoff. We have this private jet for six months, we are going to use it to tour Kenya and the world. Get ready Eldoret, Kisumu, Dar es Salam, New York, and London. Kenyan music is about to take off and take over.”
Willy Paul echoed the sentiment, revealing that the tour is not just about music, but also about flying the Kenyan flag high and making Kenyan music go global.
“It’s time for us to claim back our number one spot. Pozze Live is around the corner. I’m ready to do the impossible to make the Kenyan music industry better again. Even if it means working with musicians I don’t get along with. It’s time for me to put all differences aside. Pick a Kenyan artiste and I’ll make the collabo happen for the sake of saving our industry." The I Do songmaker stated.
Politicians including former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko have pledged their support towards the event, having bought hundreds of tickets.
