Greek artist Stavros Zacharias has taken the world by storm with his unique blend of Kikuyu-inspired electronic dance music. His hit songs "Ndikwenda" and "Karimu" have garnered over 130 million streams worldwide, proving the universal appeal of music that transcends cultural boundaries.

Zacharias credits his love for African culture and its rich musical heritage as the inspiration behind these groundbreaking tracks. The fusion of traditional African sounds with contemporary electronic music has resonated with audiences globally, making him a rising star in the international music scene.

With strong ties to Kenya, Zacharias plans to visit the country soon to connect with fans and collaborators. He has expressed admiration for Kenyan artists like Lano Msanii and hinted at potential collaborations with global stars such as Sauti Sol, Ayra Starr, and Tems.

He expressed his delight in seeing African culture gaining traction in the global EDM scene. "It's wonderful to witness DJs and producers embracing African music," he says.

Looking ahead, Zacharias is gearing up to release a full-length Kikuyu-inspired album in 2025. This project promises to further solidify his position as a trailblazer in the world of electronic music.

His previous works, such as  “Kami” and “Ragnarok” albums, showcase his ability to blend Japanese and Norwegian themes seamlessly with his sound.
