Angella Kailu Mwanzia, a Kenyan journalist, communications practitioner and a content creator, made waves internationally with her recent achievement as the 1st runner-up in the Miss Africa Malaysia 2024 beauty pageant.
Born and raised in Mombasa, Angella is a graduate of Daystar University with a degree in Journalism and Public Relations. Her journey has been fueled by her passion for storytelling and her dedication to uplifting African culture and identity.
Although based in Malaysia, Angella has continued to shine as a cultural ambassador, using platforms like Miss Africa Malaysia to celebrate her Kenyan roots. During the competition, she delivered a breathtaking performance that showcased the vibrant Maasai culture, earning admiration for her authenticity and creativity.
