Esther Musila: Some people hate me because they can't have what I have

Ever since Esther Musila and Guardian Angel got married, a lot has been said about their age gap but that has not deterred her.

During a recent session on TikTok, Musila said she has been receiving hate from netizens, some calling her old and wondering why she settled with a man who is 20 years younger than her.

The mother of three said she was happy with her choice and they were thriving together.

“Mimi ni mzee lakini I am fine...Fine girl...All those who are always out there insulting me, why didn't my husband see you? Why didn't he marry you since you are such young and beautiful girls?" she asked.

"Until I married... got married to Guardian, or I married him, he married me... you know because we married each other, I didn't know how toxic how this world outside here can be. That people can be just so jealous of you and your life, for what? Why do people insult others? Just why? For what?" she asked.

Musila said she is not bothered by naysayers and is proud of her age.

“These people who call me old, will they not grow old? Are they immune? They hate me because they can’t have what I have,” she said.

Children

The couple has maintained that having children is not the number one priority in their marriage and in a previous interview they said they are focused on loving each other at the moment.

"Children are a blessing from God. A child is a bonus...if we get one it's fine, if not we will still love each other.

"Assuming I married a younger lady and because of one reason or another she failed to conceive, would it be fair to walk away? Should she also walk away if I cannot sire children?" asked Guardian.

Musila, on her part, said people should let them choose what makes them happy. She is a mother of three from a previous relationship.

"Ata tusipopata si ni wetu? Si wa society," she said.

Asked about how their love story started, Guardian admitted that he was the first one to shoot his shot even though Esther was focused on helping him grow careerwise.

He added that he was sure Esther was the right woman for him because of how she made him feel.
