American rapper 50 Cent this week made fun of music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs shortly after his arrest in New York City.
Documents released by the FBI showed searches of Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami led to the discovery of 1000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.
In an Instagram post, 50 Cent appeared to make fun of Diddy as he captioned a photograph of himself during an appearance on Drew Barrymore’s talk show: “Here I am keeping good company with @thedrewbarrymoreshow and I don’t have 1,000 bottles of lube at the house.”
50 Cent has been on Diddy’s case for a while now and even commented on a video of the mogul chasing down Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway.
“Now I’m sure Puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing! This is what his lawyers are gonna say, God help us all.”
In 2023, Cassie had accused Diddy of years of violence, sexual abuse and controlling behaviour during the period they dated.
The singer, who was signed to Diddy’s record label Bad Boy in 2005 when she was 19, said she was introduced to drugs and alcohol, causing her to plunge into addictions.
In the lawsuit, Cassie also said she was coerced into participating in sexual encounters with male prostitutes as Diddy watched and recorded.
Described as ‘freak offs’, the incidents are said to have taken place across high-end hotels in the US.
Cassie further accused the rap star of controlling her life to the extent that he had access to her medical records.
She said she feared reporting because she felt the rapper would ‘find another excuse to hurt her’.
The two later said they had agreed to resolve the matter amicably without divulging the terms.
Sean "Diddy" Combs denied bail amid sex trafficking and racketeering case
Following his arrest on Monday, Diddy remains in custody after being denied bail in his ongoing legal battle involving charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
The 54-year-old music mogul appeared in court on Tuesday, where he pleaded not guilty to three felony counts, according to CNN.
Despite efforts from his legal team to secure his release, the judge ordered that he remain in detention until his next court appearance on Wednesday.
