Popular comedian Professor Hamo is currently in Tanzania, creating a buzz ahead of the comedy night event dubbed "Ndoa Edition" in Dar es Salaam, scheduled for Friday, July 26, 2024.
Hamo landed yesterday and has been on a media tour to promote the event. During his visit to Wasafi FM, he humorously remarked on the ongoing protests in the country, comparing his experience to a holiday away from Nairobi’s cold weather, teargas, and water cannons.
He mentioned that comedians have been at the forefront of the protests due to pressure from Gen Z and the need to advocate for change in the creative sector, which has been struggling financially.
Find your parents,” he hilariously spoke on air.
The event will be held at Milimani City, featuring other acts including Tanzanian comedians Mjeda Said Said and Dogo Pepe, who will share the stage with Professor Hamo, the guest comedian.
It will be hosted by rapper and media personality Baba Levo.
