"It took a lot of patience and focus to get here," Akinyi shared with a smile. "The competition was tough, but I kept my head down and trusted my game. Winning this prize is truly rewarding."

Melody Ushuda clinched the Best Junior title with a 79 net, showcasing impressive skill among the younger participants.

The Mug of the Month didn't just focus on overall net scores but also highlighted achievements on specific holes.

Prof. Herrick Othieno claimed the 1st Nine with a 34 net, while Sally Hawi dominated the 2nd Nine with an outstanding 30 net.

Tom Odongo, the Nyanza Golf Club captain, lauded the players and sponsors for making the tournament a success.

"It's always a pleasure to see our members and visitors come together for events like these. This tournament was special, as it was sponsored by members who were born in October, along with generous support from Braeburn Group of International Schools Kisumu, Kenya Breweries Kisumu, and several others," Odongo stated. "Their contributions helped us create a memorable experience for everyone involved."
