Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire officiated the wedding of his ex-wife, jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer, and billionaire heir Geoffrey Ogunlesi in Hawaii, less than a month after their divorce was finalised.
Meyer, 49, and Ogunlesi exchanged vows on Saturday, October 10, at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii, in a ceremony attended by several high-profile guests.
According to People magazine, Maguire, best known for playing Spider-Man in the film franchise, officiated the ceremony despite his marriage to Meyer officially ending on September 21, 2026.
The divorce came nearly 10 years after the former couple announced their separation in 2016 and six years after filing for divorce.
The wedding attracted several prominent guests, including Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, actress Courteney Cox and fashion designer Rachel Zoe.
Meyer and Maguire share two children, Ruby Sweetheart, 19, and Otis Tobias, 17. Both attended the wedding alongside Meyer’s newborn daughter with Ogunlesi, her third child.
Meyer welcomed her first child with Ogunlesi earlier this year. In June, she celebrated him on Father’s Day in an Instagram post dedicated to their daughter.
The jewellery designer announced her engagement to Ogunlesi in August 2024, sharing a photograph of the couple and expressing excitement about their future together.
The pair were first romantically linked in the summer of 2023 and made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the Baby2Baby Gala in November that year.
Ogunlesi is the son of Nigerian billionaire lawyer and investment banker Adebayo Ogunlesi. He is also the founder and chief executive of The Ogunlesi Group, an entertainment and music management company that represents artists.
Meyer owns Jennifer Meyer Jewelry, a jewellery brand, and serves on the board of Baby2Baby, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organisation that provides essential items to children living in poverty.
In an interview with People in May, Meyer praised Maguire for his role as a father and described the relationship between her ex-husband and Ogunlesi as positive.
She said the families continued to celebrate holidays and birthdays together and travel as a group, adding that the two men had a good relationship.
Maguire and Meyer, who married in 2007, announced their separation in 2016. Their continued involvement in family occasions reflects their approach to co-parenting as Meyer starts a new chapter with Ogunlesi.
