Tyrese Gibson has arrived in Nairobi as part of his ongoing tour of several African countries.
The Fast & Furious star announced that he was travelling to Kenya after completing a three-day visit to Uganda.
Tyrese shared updates from Entebbe International Airport, saying goodbye to Uganda as he prepared for the next stop of his African journey.
While in Uganda, the singer and actor took part in several cultural and tourism activities. One of the highlights of his visit was a meeting with President Yoweri Museveni at State House.
During their discussions, they reportedly spoke about Uganda’s creative industry, tourism opportunities and the historical relationship between Africa and African Americans.
Tyrese also supported the launch of the Explore Uganda Coffee Tourism campaign. The initiative is meant to promote Uganda’s coffee industry and encourage visitors to learn more about coffee farming, production and tourism experiences linked to the crop.
His East African trip came after another major appearance in South Africa. Before visiting Uganda, Tyrese performed at the Ndlala Grandeur II R&B Festival in Pretoria.

Earlier this year, the singer revealed that he had taken an AncestryDNA test which showed that he is 82 percent African.
The results reportedly connected him to several countries in West and Central Africa.
The discovery inspired him to learn more about the continent, its people and its culture.
His arrival in Nairobi has attracted attention among Kenyan fans, especially those who know him from his music career and blockbuster films.
