Comedian Crazy Kennar has proposed a lively idea: a dancehall reunion tailored for Kenyans who finished Form Four between 2013 and 2018.

‎The concept plays on nostalgia, inviting classmates and fans to relive the soundtrack of their late-teen years, a time when dancehall heavyweights dominated playlists and parties.‎

‎Targeting that specific group, the would be concert promises a retro dancehall vibe featuring chart-toppers from Vybz Kartel, Konshens, Popcaan, Alkaline, Mavado, Spice, Busy Signal and their contemporaries.

‎Several fans welcomed the idea online, envisioning a night of sing-alongs to familiar anthems, throwback dance moves and overall celebration of the era’s defining Jamaica's 'riddims'.

‎A playful dress code has already captured fan imagination: some in the comments, teased donning their old high school uniforms, recreating the look and feel of school reunions and adding a humorous, nostalgic layer to the event.

‎While others have suggested quirky entry ideas, like presenting a photocopy of one’s result slip or certificate at the gate,  as a direct verification of their alumni status.

‎Fans also voiced their preference when it comes to the music lineup. Requests for specific Disc Jockeys, like DJ Lyta among the favorites,  reflects a desire for authentic turntable mastery to recreate the party' utmost atmosphere of those years.

‎Social media banter has since showed excitement, though the concert’s date and venue remain unconfirmed, and followers are eagerly awaiting official details, if at all the idea will come to life.

‎Whether it becomes a full-blown production or just a simple grassroots meetup, the proposal touches a broader cultural trend of nostalgia-driven events that will most likely  reconnect people through shared soundtracks.

‎For many who grew up with dancehall as the backdrop to their teenage years, Crazy Kennar’s idea is already a hit.

‎@Ken Njuki, asked, "as a 2014 leaver, i have two questions, when and where?", @Kinyanjui Mburu said, "Dj Lyta made some of us not get C+ and above" and @John Rotich, recalled some of the then hot riddims, "Jouvert, G-shock, hot graba, heart and soul, animal instincts, bubble gum"
