Citizen TV news anchor Mashirima Kapombe on Thursday informed her followers of the demise of her mum in an emotional post.
The seasoned journalist said losing her mum had left her broken and said a prayer for her soul.
“Broken ? Eternal rest grant unto mum Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she Rest in peace. Amen!” she wrote.
This comes just three days after she posted her mum’s photo, captioning it, “My Everything ❤.”
Online, colleagues and friends sent condolence messages, encouraging Kapombe as she navigates this difficult period.
