Singer Size 8 has opened up about her love for her husband, DJ Mo, despite their recent separation.

Speaking during the season finale of their reality show Love in the Wild, Size 8 confessed that parting ways with someone she deeply cares for has been incredibly difficult.

"Before reaching this point, I considered every option available, and I want to make it clear that I don’t hate Mr Muraya. On the contrary, I love him dearly. If you were to cut my heart open, you’d find Mo mdogo right there. But I asked for a separation because I felt I had no other choice," she said.

Size 8 explained that her decision to separate does not mean she no longer believes in marriage.

"Sometimes things work out, and other times they don’t. Right now, we are facing a bit of a crisis, but I’m open to reconciliation. If God brings us back together and helps us rebuild our marriage, that would be my dream," she added.

The singer also advised others to exhaust all options before considering separation, stating, "Don’t be too quick to seek divorce. God is faithful. Reaching this decision was not easy for me, but I’m not bitter. I’m not ashamed to say I’m still very much in love with Mo, but right now, separation is the best path forward."

Despite the separation, Size 8 said she’s hopeful for reconciliation and spoke about her enduring belief in love and marriage.

"I believe in marriage, I love marriage, and I’m in pain. It’s not easy to leave someone you love. I’m here because I have no other choice, but I’m open to reconciliation. Please pray for us. I know God will work in His own wisdom. I don’t know how this will end, but I can say that God is good all the time," she shared.

On 1 August 2024, Size 8 shocked her followers by announcing the end of her 11-year marriage to DJ Mo.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the singer acknowledged that while marriage sometimes works by God’s grace, it doesn’t always succeed.

"Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace, and sometimes it does not, but all in all, God is still on the throne! I’ve been married for 11 years, and now I’m starting the journey of singlehood... but God is still on the throne. I worship you, Yahweh," she wrote.
