Her performance not only secured her the top prize but also marked a significant milestone as she became the first female golfer to clinch the coveted title this year, following a five-month streak of male winners. Its lush greens and scenic views were a testament to the high-intensity competition witnessed during the June tournament, which saw over 50 golfers vying for the top honors. Despite the challenging sunny conditions, Ojwang commanded the course with remarkable ease and precision, her swings cutting through the air with a grace that belied the difficulty of the day. Ojwang's victory is especially inspiring considering the dominance of male golfers in the previous months. Her win not only breaks the streak but also sets a new benchmark for female golfers at Nyanza Golf Club. "This victory is a sign that women at Nyanza Golf Club can compete with men. In Division 2, Lilian Kongani emerged as the winner, followed by Prashant Thakkar and James Odongo. Amrish Patel claimed the 3rd Runner-Up position.
