Mr Alex Gitura who took part in a competition to design the Kenya Power logo is accusing the rebranded company of starting off on the "wrong footing". He says Kenyans who took part in the competition feel let down by the company.
“The Corporate Communications Manager of former KPLC which ran the advert was to reward the first position Sh150,000, second position Sh100,000 and third position Sh75,000,” he says
Gitura claims KP did not advertise names of the winning entries in the newspapers as promised. Further, he claims that the new logo was only unveiled after a complaint was raised in PointBlank “but without the three winners.
“Can Kenya Power do the right thing and honour their promise to Kenyans who participated in this noble exercise?” he poses.
