My boyfriend of two years has started texting his ex-girlfriend. They dated for three years before we got together.
She also used to be one of my best friends, but since I started going out with my boyfriend, she gives me dirty looks and has even advised him to break up with me.
Of course I’ve told my boyfriend that she bothers me, but he still continues to talk to her, and hides their messages from me. What should I do?

Get rid of him! Sorry to sound harsh, but if he doesn’t respect and love you enough to stop texting this girl, then he’s not nice and I’d seriously question his motives.
He could at least be open about their messages because he knows it’s hurting you. You deserve better and that’s what you should tell him.
Dump him, then let’s see who’s more important to him.
This guy sounds like a player to me and, if you’re not careful, you could find yourself 20 years and two kids down the line, with him still playing games with your heart.
