Model, 29, dubbed ‘Mexican Kardashian’ died after ‘botched butt-lift op’

A 29-year-old OnlyFans model, dubbed the 'Mexican Kim Kardashian' has died after undergoing an alleged botched bum lift.

Joselyn Cano travelled to Columbia for the procedure which is designed to give the appearance of a bigger buttocks.

The model and online influencer, who lived in Newport Beach, California, had a massive 12.8 million followers on Instagram.

Fellow influencer, Lira Mercer, broke news of her death saying: "Omg, Joselyn Cano died in Columbia getting surgery. That's wild."

Her funeral service was reportedly streamed online from California this week.

A message on the stream read: "Joselyn entered this life in Wednesday, March 14, 1990

"She entered into Eternal Life on Monday, December 7 2020."

Many fans and fellow influencers paid tribute to the social media star.

One wrote: What the f**k? Joselyn Cano died from getting a Brazilian butt lift? Tht s**t crazy."

Another added: "I just learned Joselyn Cano died from a butt-lift in Columbia.

"I loved talking to this woman. She was absolutely stunning."

Fellow influencer, Daniella Chevez, said: "Rest in peace beautiful! A queen of social media.

"Blessings to heaven for you Joselyn Cano."

Brazilian bum lifts have led to a number of deaths in recent years as their popularity soared - with many travelling across the world for cheaper surgeries.

The death rate from the procedure is 3,000 higher than any other cosmetic operation, according to USA Today.
