Wizkid’s Essence remix features Justin Bieber

Nigerian singer and songwriter Wizkid’s Essence remix is finally out and the song is giving us all sorts of feels. Released yesterday, the remix, which has been described by many as the song of the summer features Canadian pop star Justin Bieber.

This comes days after Wizkid teased on his socials that he had something special for his fans.

"Got something special for you guys tomorrow..." he wrote on Twitter.

On his part, Justin thanked the starboy for involving him in this amazing project and was among the people who described the remix as the song of the summer.

“Thank u for letting me jump on the song of the summer. Essence remix out now”, wrote Bieber on his Instagram.

The artiste sings a whole verse in the song, a verse that gives the song an R &B feel.

The song was originally released in October 2020 and became an instant hit as is with his previous songs. The song is part of the artiste’s album ‘Made in Lagos’ which he plans on releasing a deluxe version on August 27.

He is set to take his album tour launch in the States and parts of Canada.

Wizkid has had his fair share of success since he joined the music industry. He boasts of several international awards and nominations as well as featuring in major collaborations with top international acts such as Beyoncé.

He recently received a nomination alongside Beyoncé for their song ‘Brown Skin Girl’ off Beyoncé’s album, Lion King for the MTV VMA’S. The song recently won a Grammy award for the best video.
