In an Instagram Story, the UK based model claimed that Stefflon Don was publicly shrugging off her claims whilst privately begging for answers about her alleged relationship with Burna Boy. “Bro, it has really taken everything in me to keep quiet but the audacity of this woman to call me a 'Nollywood actress' whilst begging for answers and evidence in my DMs will forever leave me gobsmacked,” wrote Jo Pearl.

An escalation after she came out to claim that she had been in a relationship with Burna Boy for the last two years. In a widely-shared video, Jo Pearl explained how the two began dating after Burna Boy DMed her and kept the relationship hidden. “Two years is such a long time for a person to be hidden. It has affected me in so many ways, and I can't hold it any more to protect people that wouldn't protect me,” she stated.

The 23-year-old model went on to claim that the two had already moved in together prior to the singer relocating back to Nigeria but kept the flame alive and continued to FaceTime each other. When she found out he was in a relationship with Stefflon Don, however, her world caved in. "I literally collapsed and cried for days, probably even weeks. I feel like the thing that hurt me the most is that from the first day I met him, he always emphasized how much he just loved black women, African women. He made me feel so good to the point; I cut my hair just recently,” she said.

Whilst Stefflon Don has not directly responded to her boyfriend’s alleged affair, she initially reacted to the reports by subtly asking, “What in the Nollywood is going on here mate?”
