Nicolas Cage has filed for an annulment just four days after getting hitched to girlfriend Erika Koike, according to reports.
The pair had been together since April 2018 but Nicolas had a sudden change of heart after their Las Vegas wedding, with him allegedly stating that 34-year-old Erika was 'looking to take his money'.
The 55-year-old Hollywood actor was believed to be 'in a sorry state' when seen applying for a marriage licence at the Clark County Court House Marriage Licence Bureau in downtown Vegas on Saturday.
TMZ has reported that Cage made a return just days later to request that the judge annuls the marriage, making it invalid.
This follows footage that was published by the Daily Mail of Cage shouting that make-up artist Erika was going to "take all of his money" as they obtained their marriage licence.
Onlookers told the paper that Cage seemed "very out of it" and "most likely drunk" and was seen 'speaking to himself' while walking around with his hands on his hips.
Erika reportedly came back at Cage, saying: "I never asked you to do this."
A source told the Daily Mail: "They started by filling the application in at one of the machines.
"The whole time he was yelling 'She is going to take all my money.'"
The couple were eventually taken into a private room, before emerging later and leaving the courthouse with papers in hand.
This is the fourth time Nicolas had tied the knot, after marrying Patricia Arquette in 1995.
They split in 2001 but a year later, Cage was marrying Lisa Marie Presley but that lasted just three months.
He had more success with third wife Alice Kim, who he married in 2004 and remained with until 2016.
They had a son, Kal-El, in 2005, while Nicolas also has a 28-year-old son, Weston, from a relationship with Christina Fulton.
