American popstar Beyoncé finally debuted at Coachella after missing out on its 2017 edition due to her pregnancy with twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
Beyoncé’s epic 2018 performance made history and is still reverberating on the charts raking in millions as sales continue to soar.
As the first black woman to headline the music festival that takes place in Indio, California, Beyoncé did not disappoint starting her epic show with “Crazy in Love” while accompanied by a marching band.
To turn the notch higher, she unveiled her wild card as she brought on stage her Destiny’s child sisters, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. According to Forbes, digital song sales for Destiny's Child soared by 767% on Sunday hours after their performance.
She sold 7,000 units while Destiny's Child moved around 1,200 units. The difference, according to Nielsen, was because of Beyoncé’s large baseline.
Nielsen reported that Beyoncé’s song Hold Up was the charm as its sale hit the roof with a generous spike of 287%.
Beyoncé was later joined on stage by her husband Jay-Z and sister Solange Knowles.
