A top politician has sent three pilots to Germany for training in how to navigate his newly acquired helicopter.
The chopper, which is set to be delivered next month, is equipped with an anti-aircraft missile defence system.
The politician is said to be lobbying the Kenya Civil Aviation to give him his own call sign.
The chopper is customized and the political bigshot is said to be eying more like it.

Junior officers at a police station in Mbeere North have turned the spotlight on a senior who they accuse of misusing government resources.
They claim the officer has been using the official police car attached to the station to visit her rural home, almost 500km away.
They want police authorities to rein in on the officer and stop the wastage.
“For instance today the officer called saying she is reporting back to work tomorrow and needs to be picked up from her rural home while other official duties are stalling,” said an official at the station.
The officers say the matter has been going on unaddressed for a while.
