He has been on a music break for the last two months, that is, since his wife Diana gave birth to their first child, Heaven, and now, gospel singer Bahati is making a music comeback with a bang.

Come tomorrow, all eyes will be on the Ten over Ten singer as he launches his new signing, a female artiste from a neighbouring country.

This will be the first female gospel singer Bahati will be signing under his EMB Records stable.

MondayBlues has learned that more than 300 guests, celebrated artistes and other prominent personalities have been invited to the invite-only red-carpet ceremony to be held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.

“Well, I have invited close friends in the showbiz industry, most of them mentors who have been helping me grow and whom I always admired as I was getting started in music. This will be a thanksgiving ceremony that will also see me celebrate media personalities who have walked with me throughout the journey,” Bahati told MondayBlues yesterday.

The event could also serve as another statement Bahati is making in the music industry since he hosted more than 10,000 fans during his New Year party held at the Thika stadium, an event which was viewed as the ‘Mama’ hitmaker’s statement that he is a force to reckon with.

“I have been trying to study the industry and I have noticed that we don’t have so many female artistes left and that is why I have decided to sign female singers starting with the one I am introducing on Tuesday,” he noted.
