Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has donated Sh859, 404 (USh 30 million) towards the offsetting the hospital bill of popular singer Moses Ssekibogo popularly known Mowzey Radio.
Confirming the huge donation, Ugandan music promoter Balaam Barugahare stated that Museveni had paid the amount directly to the Case Clinic Hospital to assist in Mowzey’s medication.
Barugahare added that the Ugandan entertainment industry was grateful that the head of state had honoured requests for help from Ugandan artists such as Bebe cool, Gudlyfe Management Team and Carthy Kusasira.
“Thank you Mr President YK Museveni for the financial contribution of 30,000,000 ugx paid directly this evening to case medical centre to cater for part of Mozy Radio medical bill we are proud to have you as a father of our country long live.
“Thank you for listening and acting to the request made to you by Balaam Barugahara, Bebe cool, Gudlyfe management Team and Carthy Kusasira up on the incidence gwe asinga Thank you on behalf of entertainment industry, friends and Mozy Radio family.”
Mowzey Radio woke up from a ‘coma’ after a brawl in Kampala a week ago after being rushed to Case Clinic in Kampala.
At the time, the singer’s management had stated that his condition was not as alarming as was being portrayed in some social media circles.
Radio sings alongside Jose Chameleone’s brother Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel.
