Act fast to end petty crimes in Nyamira

The rise in petty crimes in Ikonge township, Nyamira County, has become a nightmare for traders and farmers within the area. Crime surge is attributed to joblessness.

Despite the existence of community policing, the crime rate is still high in the area.

Farmers are counting losses as unknown people have been harvesting produce on their farms. Traders are not spared either with increased burglaries.

The administration and the community policing should up their game to avert such losses which may affect the economy of the town.
