Gospel singer Willy Paul has released a new song, two days after the 2015 Groove Awards. The song titled Hukuniacha comes after the singer went home empty handed at the gospel award events.

His counterpart Bahati took home four awards to reign the Groove night including the coveted Song of the Year and Male Artiste of the Year thanks to his big tune Barua.

Willy Paul says that he wrote the new song a year ago but realized that “it made sense” to him last month.

“Hello family, finally I present to you my new song.. HUKUNIACHA I wrote this song 1 and a half years back but it made alot of sense to me last month and so I believe releasing it and letting people know how I feel is the best thing! I have all your questions answered here”

It’s a tune flavoured by his typical use of bongo rhtymn and accents.

Willy Paul however rocked the night with an outstanding energetic performance that went pretty well with the audience. His moves with Size 8 as they danced to Tam Tam will be something that will be remembered for a long time.

For now, we can only wait for the video to the song
