Former President Bill Clinton and wife Hillary, is not a happy couple after a painter who did his portrait revealed a secret entailed in the painting, involving his affair with a White House intern.

The celebrity painter Nelson Shanks, revealed that the portrait includes a shadow on the mantle, on Clinton’s left representing Monica Lewinsky’s famous blue dress.

In an interview published on Philadelphia Daily News, Shanks said, “The reality is he's probably the most famous liar of all time.”He and his administration did some very good things, of course, but I could never get this Monica thing completely out of my mind and it is subtly incorporated in the painting."

According to the painter, The Clintons “hate the portrait” which is currently  hanging at The National Portrait Gallery.

Lewinsky, is a former White House intern with whom Clinton admitted having what he called an inappropriate relationship while she worked at the White House in 1995 and 1996. This led to his impeachment by the House of Representatives.
